Lunch at The Elms Carriage House Café  and the Chinese Tea House at Marble House
A delicious and nutritious assortment of snacks, beverages, home-made chilled soups, fresh salads and sandwiches is available seasonally at The Elms Carriage House Café and the Chinese Tea House at Marble House. The menu changes weekly.
Located on the terrace of the historic carriage house at The Elms, the Café offers umbrella-shaded bistro tables, overlooking the grand allee, fountains and sunken garden. Or enjoy your lunch at the Chinese Tea House at Marble House, with a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean beyond the Cliff Walk. I
In addition to the regular menu, specialty plates are also available at the Chinese Tea House, including classic antipasto, assorted cheese and crackers, or poached salmon with orzo.
Open to Preservation Society members and Newport Mansions ticket holders daily from May 15 to October 11, 2010.

Private Tours
For the most intimate experience, choose a private tour for your party through one or more houses of your choosing. Private tour fees start at $300, and include membership. To arrange a private tour, call (401) 847-1000, ext 105.
See and hear how the other half lived as you tour the "back stairs" and rooftop of this Gilded Age mansion. Walk through the kitchens, coal cellar and boiler room, laundry rooms and wine cellar, then up the stairs to the third-floor staff quarters. Weather permitting, your tour will take you out onto the roof, for a spectacular view of the ten-acre estate and Newport harbor beyond.
