Student Tours

The Breakers Student Tour is an interactive experience encouraging children to ask questions and talk about what they see as their guide gives them a personal perspective on what life would be like growing up in a mansion like the Vanderbilt children.  The Breakers Student Tour is designed for students in grades K-5 and is available daily in the morning.

Marble House Mythology and Architecture Tour helps students gain a basic understanding of mythology and architecture through imagery, story, interactive participation and by pre-and post-visit activities.  The Marble House Mythology and Architecture Tour is designed for students in grades 4-8 and is available daily at 9:30 a.m.

To prepare your students for this tour, you may download a
Teachers Resource Guide that provides suggested lesson plans, online tours and research material to support RI learning standards for elementary students.
